Photography Gear Guide

The top 5 list:

  • This is the ultimate filter for live music photography and light flares.

  • I was invited to be one of the first photographers to try out the new Instax Mini 99 instant camera from Fujifilm and it is by far my favourite portable camera yet. I love the new control dials and the ability to apply fun filters and multiple exposures in-camera.

  • I don’t go anywhere without one of these microfibre lens cloths from Nitecore. The cloth sticks to itself and wraps your gear up safely, while keeping your lenses snug. It is made from scratch-resistant material to protect your camera and other accessories while you travel.

  • This is the camera body that I use most frquently for everyday photography as well as live music. I love the impressive low-light capabilities of mirrorless cameras and how leightweight they can be for travelling. It’s available on Amazon UK and Amazon US.

My favourite lens to use with this camera is my Sony 90mm F/2.8 Macro G lens (also on this list).

  • This is my favourite lens and it’s an absolute workhorse too. It’s technically a macro lens, but I’ve found that it’s amazing for portraiture and creating that dreamy bokeh effortlessly.

Get it at Amazon UK, Wex, or MPB.

I’ve had the opportunity to get hands-on with some amazing tech and photography accessories in my career as a journalist and ecommerce writer, and I’ve put together this Amazon Photography Gear Guide to share my favourite products with you that are cemented in my kit bag. (I may earn an affiliate commission if you choose to purchase anything from this list). If you’re based in the US, here’s my Photography Gear Guide (US edition).
