FAQs

Where are you located? Will you Travel to me for bookings and shoots?

I’m based in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, near Bristol. I’ve recently passed my driving test, but I’m still a little anxious when it comes to the motorway and driving long distances. I am, however, willing to travel up to 2 hours by train for a shoot if necessary, although this will be at an additional travel fee to be negotiated upon booking.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with a Canon 5DS and a Sony A7 III as my main setup. I also own an Olympus OM20, as well as a Praktica MTL3 film camera, plus a Polaroid SuperColor 635 just for fun. I have previous experience using a Hasselblad H5D for projects at university, which to this day - is still the most expensive camera I’ve ever held.

For location shoots, I have various lighting equipment, including cob and ring lights, to create fantastic outdoor aesthetics paired with coloured light gels.

How do I purchase additional photos from our shoot?

Just ask! Feel free to message me anytime (I don’t bite) if you have questions about specific images from the shoot or any editing queries, and I’d be happy to discuss the options with you and offer any bulk buy or bundle discounts.

If you have any further questions or enquiries about my work please feel free to get in touch using the contact form at the top of the navigation bar.

Do you have a studio?

I unfortunately do not have my own studio space. I do have access to local studios that charge a set amount per hour to use, and this will be added onto the invoice and shoot cost of your booking if the use of a studio or professional environment is requested by you.

Can I post photos from our shoot?

Absolutely! My clients are given permission to post any and all images from the shoot, as and when they desire. The photos are yours to keep. You are not required to post watermarked images with my logo so long as it is understood that I will always retain copyright of the images and they are not to be sold or licensed to a third party company, entered into competitions, used as part of merchandise (unless discussed), or for your own financial gain.

I have all of my clients sign either a model release or image usage form prior to a shoot to establish rights, boundaries, and consent. This will always work both ways, and I vow as your photographer that your images are safe with me and will not be posted or shared online for portolio or competition purposes unless you have provided me with explicit permission to do so.

If you are able to provide photo credit by linking to my website and social media channels, where possible, it’s always appreciated. I encourage all clients to also leave an honest review (good or bad) after our shoot to help me grow and improve my skills.
